2014. 07 .01 MEET stopped selling small items 

 

MEET is not going to sell the previous small products, MAB5A, ZAB5A, Watteris, converters and other DIY kits, because she made a new plan of concentrating her efforts on core materials, instead the new commecial power systems will be realized with strategic parteners. However only air diffusion electrodes (air cahodes) will be sold for a while. 

 

 

2013 .12. 20 The ADD project "Development of small metal air fuel cell" completed

 

A project fully supported by ADD and conducted by the consortium of KERI, MEET and Hyundai Rotem was successfuly finished with developing the energy intensive zinc air batteries. It was 3 and a half year period to finish the special powerpack useful for soldiers using military radios and small UAV. 

 

 

2013. 10 .30  An UAV powered by zinc air battery flied

 

An energy intensive zinc air battery is developed by a consortium of MEET, Hyundai Rotem, KERI and ADD in Korea sponsored by Korean Department of Defense. The battery was demonstrated to fly a small UAV on the site of UAV test center in Pusan University. MEET supplied a new air cathode for decreasing weight and increasing power density.
The UAV completed several flying tests achieving 1 hour flights.
